Same Day Weed Delivery Toronto: How It Works
Same-day weed delivery in Toronto means you order in the morning, afternoon or evening and your cannabis arrives the same day, usually within 60–120 minutes of your order being confirmed. With Farmer’s Link, you order from the online menu or by phone, meet the driver with cash and your photo ID, and you’re done.
This guide walks through the whole process from start to finish: who can order, what the minimum is, how timing really works, what to have ready at the door, and when curbside pickup might suit you better than delivery. If you’ve never ordered before, read it once and your first order should feel simple.

What does same-day weed delivery in Toronto actually mean?
Same-day delivery simply means your order is prepared and brought to you on the day you place it, rather than being shipped by mail and arriving days later. You browse a menu, place an order, and a driver brings it to your address, typically within a couple of hours.
At Farmer’s Link, most deliveries arrive within 60–120 minutes once an order is confirmed. That window can stretch to about 2 hours when traffic, weather, order volume or distance slow things down. We would rather give you a realistic window than a promise that falls apart during rush hour on the Gardiner.
Same-day service is available across Toronto and nearby GTA areas, depending on availability and coverage. Toronto itself is a delivery-only service area, and we also run three curbside pickup points in Brampton, North York and York for people who prefer to collect their order.
Who can order, and what do you need before your first order?
Cannabis service is for adults 19+ only. Before your first order, you’ll need to verify your identity once. New customers send a photo of their government-issued photo ID plus a selfie, and the address on the ID must match the delivery address. ID photos are deleted once verification is complete.
After that one-time check, ordering again is quicker. You’ll still need valid government-issued photo ID with you when the driver arrives, because every handoff is for adults 19+ only.
The address on your ID must match your delivery address. If yours doesn’t, for example because you’ve recently moved, call (647) 868-8888 before ordering.
How do you place a same-day order?
There are two ways to order, and both lead to the same delivery process:
- Online: browse the Farmer’s Link online menu, add what you want to your cart and check out with your delivery address.
- By phone: call (647) 868-8888 and place your order with our team.
- Confirmation: once your order is confirmed, it’s prepared and assigned to a driver.
- ETA: your driver sends you an ETA when they’re on the way, so you know when to head out.
Our menu can include flower, pre-rolls, grabba, vapes, edibles, concentrates and accessories where available. Availability changes, so check the live menu rather than relying on an old screenshot or a friend’s list.
How long does same-day delivery take in Toronto?
Most orders arrive within 60–120 minutes. The main things that affect your wait are:
- Distance from the driver’s route to your address.
- Traffic, especially on major routes at busy times of day.
- Weather, which slows everyone down in winter storms and heavy rain.
- Order volume, since busy periods mean more stops on each route.
The best way to get your order sooner is to order a little before you actually need it, double-check your address and unit number, and keep your phone nearby so you can see the driver’s ETA. If you’re planning around a specific time, give yourself the full two-hour window.
What are the delivery hours?
Hours vary by area. Rather than list hours in a blog post that could go out of date, we keep current delivery times on our delivery areas page. Check it before you order, especially if you’re ordering later in the day or from an area near the edge of our coverage.
If you’re unsure whether you can still get a same-day order, call (647) 868-8888 and we’ll tell you what’s possible for your address. Answers to other common questions, from ID to returns, are on our FAQ page.
How much is the minimum order, and are there delivery fees?
The minimum order for delivery is $50. For many addresses that’s all you need to know. An additional delivery fee may apply in some areas, usually farther ones, so it’s worth checking your area on the delivery areas page or asking when you call.
We don’t publish menu prices or deals in blog posts because they change. The online menu always shows what’s currently available.
What should you have ready when the driver arrives?
A smooth handoff takes about a minute if you’re prepared. Have these ready:
- Cash: payment is cash on delivery only.
- Valid government-issued photo ID: you must be 19+, and the ID address must match the delivery address.
- Your phone: so you can see the ETA and any message from your driver.
When the driver arrives, meet them at their vehicle. If you live in a condo or apartment, that usually means heading down to the lobby entrance or the pickup spot out front when your ETA says they’re close. Please check your order before the driver leaves. All sales are final, except for wrong or damaged items reported at the time of delivery. You can read the full details in our terms of use.
Is curbside pickup a better option than same-day delivery?
Sometimes. If you live or work near one of our pickup points, order-ahead curbside pickup can fit neatly into your day. Our pickup points are:
- 7990 Kennedy Rd S #11, Brampton
- 1290 Finch Ave W, Unit 2, North York
- 1355 Weston Rd, York
These are order-ahead curbside locations only, with no walk-ins. Place your order online or by phone, wait for your confirmation and pickup instructions, then arrive with cash and photo ID. Directions and details for each spot are on our locations page.
